Touchdown!

Greetings from Leuven, Belgium! The entire group reconvened today in our wonderful hostel in a college town of Leuven this afternoon. Running on a collective 0 hours of sleep, the Pitt Men were once again reunited with the glorious Silbernagl- our double decker steed that transports us majestically around town.

We grabbed a quick lunch and then were introduced to the wonderful Arenberg Orkest whom we will be performing our Cherubini Requiem with for the first time in two days. This is a 80+ piece orchestra from this city that consists of similar aged students and adults.

They greeted us extremely hospitably with an arranged "Meet and Greet", complete with complimentary Belgian beers. No complaints here- even Richard didn't scoff us whetting our whistles right before our evening rehearsal.

Following, we scoped out a few areas of the city as we walked to the church we will be performing in in two days time. More photos to come- for now we all need some sleep!

Single file! Hold hands everyone!

This is it! Everyone's checked in and through security. All teams have checked in and we're officially Europe bound.

Don't forget your polo- even on your luggage! You can't ever be too safe!

Wait, why are we going to Europe again?

One day left in the states and some very exciting things happening before we set sail.
Brendan McKinley's family was kind enough to host a few of us men flying out tomorrow from New York.

After a delicious dinner, Evan "Esmerelda" decided the mood was ripe for spinning. The situation is tense with anticipation as his yarn winds our hearts into a gentle woolen spool.

Meanwhile, it's Cunningham's turn in charades. Very long round.

...

But really, these posts will get more interesting once we get out of the states. We promise.
