Stella Artois brewery

Think of the cheapest beer in America. Miller lite? Maybe American lite? Natural Lite? Lionshead? Well imagine you lived in an area where Stella Artois was put on that same level. That's Leuven.

The brewery was a short walk from our hostel and one morning we all headed over for a guided walk through the enormous factory.

Here's what we learned:
3 types of beer at once.

2 hours for a batch of beer to end it's first phase of heating. Could be days for the second cooler phase to end.

4 basic ingredients water, corn, barley, and hops.

99.7% efficient and reusable resources

You would need to drink 50 beers every day for 100 years in order to clear the facility of the beer they produce in a SINGLE day.

Basically we're all set to make our own line and compete directly. Here's what out spy's captured whilst on reconnaissance.

We sang a few quick songs in the sampling area of the brewery (I think it was called Paradise, right? Golden room with free beer?) and were asked by the team there to post/send them. We're collecting footage now. Will post when available.
